Poplin's same-day laundry service is $2/LB. Service includes wash, dry, and fold. Pickup and delivery is free. IS THERE A MINIMUM? There is a $20 minimum on next-day orders, and a $40 minimum on same-day orders. DO YOU SEPARATE LIGHTS AND DARKS? Yes, of course. You just tap and order. Everything else is taken care of for you. WHAT ARE MY DETERGENT OPTIONS? When placing an order, you have 3 detergent options: 1. Premium-scented 2. Hypoallergenic (unscented/sensitive skin) 3. Provide your own If you choose premium-scented or hypoallergenic, your Laundry Pro will use a top-rated premium brand detergent. If you choose "provide your own," please include your detergent with your pickup. Your Laundry Pro will use your detergent and return any unused detergent to you. UNSAFE OR UNSANITARY LAUNDRY We do not service unsafe or unsanitary laundry. We also don’t service laundry that includes excessive pet hair. Before you place an order you will be asked to certify that your laundry: - is safe and does not include bed bugs, fleas, roaches, or biohazardous materials. - is sanitary and does not include feces, urine, blood, or vomit, beyond traces normally found in household laundry. - does not include excessive pet hair. Violators incur a $20 fee, laundry returned “as is,” and the account may be closed. DO I NEED LAUNDRY BAGS? You can put your laundry out for pickup in any bag you want, disposable bags, or your hamper. Most people use disposable bags. If you use your hamper we'll transfer your clothes to our disposable bags and leave your hamper behind. You can also use laundry bags, which we'll return to you laundered. Your laundry will always be delivered in Poplin provided clear plastic bags.
Used to love it
I used to love poplin, used it all the time since I don’t have an in unit laundry at my disposal. While it still does the job as it used to, this additional $13.25 of “surge pricing” on EVERY single order for the past few months has really turned me off the app. This plus the $20 minimum PLUS expected tip is just crazy. While I can afford it, lots of people who are using this service in my community and are using it due to disability or age for example cannot. I think overall this has lost a lot of its convenience and really isn’t worth the $40 a load.
Lifesaver!
I am disabled and one of my major worries when I was first starting to live independently was if I was going to be able to complete day to day chores such as laundry. Poplin has completely changed the way I live and allowed me to save energy for the things I actually enjoy doing in life, as well as live in less pain. I’ve used it for around 3 years and only have good things to say!
DO NOT USE THEM! The Laundry Pros Steal
Don’t use this service! I used one laundry pro named Ashley multiple times. My last order was missing 1 sports bras and one workout set. I filed a claim and the company just asked her about it. She said she didn’t remember seeing those articles of clothing and they took her works for it and closed my case. Those were my favorite workout options and now they’re gone. Also, I just realized another sports bra is missing as I went to look for it this morning. I’m so upset about this and the company will do nothing about it.

Stevie is the best I found her after the second go round the first one was not so hot but the service has been absolutely outstanding. I would recommend the service to anybody. It’s absolutely awesome to have your clothes washed Hung Up anyway you want well worth the price and they have insurance for your nicer clothing just in case.
Do not use - back to back bad experiences
Would not recommend this app/service. The first time I used them I was overcharged for items. The second time was worse. The “laundry pro” who did my laundry kept/misplaced a dress of mine. I contacted support services about it and they said this never happens but they were going to contact the guy. They don’t allow reimbursement for lost items, despite saying they are insured up to a certain amount for loss, they will only do credit on the app. But they said they contacted the guy and he “found” my dress and was supposed to deliver it two days ago. I still have not received my dress, and now the support email that I was using to chat back and forth with their team is mysteriously no longer recognized and I can’t get in contact with them. So I don’t have my dress, I haven’t been reimbursed, and the support team ghosted me. After two bad experiences, I won’t be using this service again. Do not use this garbage service.
Gross! They tried on my clothes…
The first person to clean my clothes was great. The second person however was not. My clothes came back as expected at first appearance. When I started taking the clothes out of the plastic bags, I could smell someone’s body odor. Not mine, not my child’s. It was awful. The smell was coming from the armpit areas of several shirts. Needless to say I had to rewash all the clothes again. I gave a review about it and I heard nothing back. They did not offer a refund or credit. I really wanted to like this service but all I can now think about is why we’re they in my clothes? Did they try on clothes to find some they liked? Maybe I’m missing clothes and have not figured it out yet. All I can say is the smell was gross and those clothes had been worn by someone else and did not come back clean.
App Crashes After Update
The “new and improved” app crashes every single time I try to place an order. I have the newest iPhone, most updated iOS, and there are no app updates available. Yet still, I cannot use the app without it crashing if I try to leave the home screen to place an order, look at my account, anything. I often used Poplin laundry service before this, but I won’t be anymore because it’s not worth the frustration; especially that even if I could get an order in, I don’t trust that I’d be able to get back in after to view details or message the pro. Really disappointing because the original app worked flawlessly. This is definitely not any type of improvement.
