Laundry pros need more
This app needs a way for pros to keep their own notes about accounts. Even a list of customers maybe they do not wish to see any longer as they may not be best suited to accommodate their requests. Either way we need to have our own preferred and non preferred lists.
The app keeps freezing.
I am trying to take the test and the app keep freezing, having me to start over again. Not pleased at all.
Horrible company
This is a horrible company and team. They have no empathy for their workers. I had signed up for poplin to make some extra money. I passed the background check and did everything I had to do to get my account running. I was unable to receive orders for about a week and I messaged them. It took awhile for them to get back to me. They responded by saying that “ I’m sorry to inform you that you can not have an account at this time and sorry for any frustration this may cause”. There was no explanation whatsoever. It left me feeling bummed out, but maybe this job wasn’t for me and the way they treat people on here is horrible! Stay away! And the pay is very low! Beware because they will suspend your account with no warning or explanation. A sue should be coming for better treatment & working conditions.
Great gig work
Depending on your area and your hustle you can make a little or a lot.
So far NOT so good
I have been a laundry pro for a month and the ONLY jobs I have been offered have included a 45 minute drive 1 way. The gas alone would mean I’m paying to do someone else’s laundry. How is that helpful to me in the slightest? The jobs need to be more fairly distributed or at the very least allowing more laundry pros in a saturated area needs to be prevented. I was really hopeful about this and it has been a total disappointment. I can’t even tell you how the app works because I haven’t gotten any jobs at all that weren’t at a distance so far from me that it made zero financial sense to take the job. I am extremely disappointed.
very flexible love love love!
love working for poplin def gives me more time at home with kids and i can do this new skill and found love for laundry from home =)
I’m able to stay home and care for my autistic child
Poplin made it possible to stay home with my child who has autism. I am unable to work a normal job but doing laundry for poplin gives me an opportunity to earn extra money to help contribute to the home. I’m able to be here for my child and can work around being a mother at the same time. If you work hard and stay consistent you will see results.
We’ve tackled bug fixes and general improvements to your Poplin experience in this release.
