The Latest update broke it
This was a very good app when it worked. But, after the latest update, I am having the following issues: 1. When you sync your meter, it does NOT show the latest blood sugar information from my meter. It shows the previous one and previous dates. 2. When your sync,It does NOT allow you to choose when you took the reading: pre-meal, post-meal, etc. 3. it does NOT save the Notes that you enter. 4. It no longer shows the SAVE option at the too right. I hope they fix this soon. It is not useful for me. Thank you.
Our of country!
This is a great application. However it seems that when one travels to Mexico and maybe other countries, this application does not work. Additionally, in the last couple of months the syncing has slowed down. But besides the recent slow syncing and not working while traveling in Mexico, it’s a great application.

Was easier to use before and now it doesn't want to communicate with my meter at all.
Awwww … c’mon !
I was referred to this app by my Diabetes Health Manager for recording and syncing my glucose readings to my Doc and Health Manager at Kaiser. It worked very well (not perfect) for 2 months then I noticed the syncs were getting ‘sluggish’ or ‘delayed’ from when my meter picked up the blood drop until it registered on the app. Today, it wouldn’t sync at all. I attempted the test 4-5 times in a row hoping the readings would be recorded as proof of my insulin needing adjusting down. This was to be labeled as Pre-meal, but couldn’t wait to get glucose into me as I was going hypoglycemic; therefore, eating sugar immediately without recording the low readings. I’m hoping this glitch is in the software algorithm and being addressed as it is a good app to keep everyone on my team at Kaiser apprised of my progress in controlling my blood sugar. Nothing really helped me ‘record and address’ glucose readings doing it manually in a notebook, it was hit and Miss for me. But this app was always at hand as I carried my cell phone almost 24/7 and it was easy to use as a ‘vehicle’ for entering, recording, and viewing my progress… so convenient. It keeps me accountable to myself to eat properly and monitor my diabetes daily … and it provides my Diabetes Health Team real time info on my progress. I do hope the app team addresses the concerns I’ve read in these reviews … it’s a great tool when it works as designed. 👍
Needs an update
Up until the last 2 weeks the app has been fine. It is not been syncing with my meter. I have to take out strip, press the on button a couple of times to get it to sync the reading. Just super annoying I even got a new meter hoping for better results. First day was great, now same thing is happening. Not sure what the issue is!
Sync problems
80% of the time this app won’t sync to my meter even if I place it literally on top of my phone. When it does sync, it took like 3-5 mins
Refuses to sync
This app refuses to sync with my OneTouch glucose meter. I have to turn the meter off and on multiple times before it will sync. (The OneTouch app syncs with the same meter every time I use it.)
