Drink Free Days is for people who like a drink but want some support in tracking and cutting down on the booze. It also helps you understand more about your current drinking and risk levels as it common for people to underestimate how much they drink. Health guidelines recommend we all take at least 3 days off drinking a week, so simply pledge and nominate a specific number of drink free days each week and get practical, daily support to help you stick to it and be more successful in reaching your goals. Drinking days
I think the app could be improved. When you do have a drinking day to enter what you have drank then rather than what you drink each week at the start. You don’t always drink the same drink or as much.
Unable to edit data more than 2 weeks old
It must be a simple fix to be able to edit historical data more than the previous week. I forgot to annotate a drink free day 3 weeks ago and now all my data is wrong.

Can’t Track Units of Alcohol Consumed
Downloaded and was disappointed that you can’t enter drinks consumed making it difficult to track your consumption and progress each week. The app just prompts you to enter your drink-free days only. Quite limited.
Reduced drinking by 20%
An updated review. I have decreased my drinking by 20% since starting the app (going by the percentage of women your age drink less than you). I’m not always accurate, I missed adding drink free days over the first couple of months. I have started to try to record it every morning now. I have made progress with the amount I drink on a drinking day, I’ve cut that in half actually so really it’s decreased a lot more than 20%. I’ve now pledged 5 days a week drink free and reduced my “typical week” entry. Cons of the app: - The £s are way off. I expect the app calculate the average price per drink as if you were drinking in the pub or average people spend on a bottle of wine but the money spent is a lot more than what I spend. It would be great to have a feature to add cost when you’re inputting your “typical week”. It came up with a ridiculous figure that was over triple what I’d usually spend. - No way to input your drinking amount day by day. It would be great to be able to input how much you drank on your drinking days, even if that was just a traffic light system. E.g. amber for moderate drinking, red for heavy. It would be helpful when looking at progress and be more accurate.

In this version you can now input historic Drink Free Days. We've fixed issues related to pledge records and we have added error messages for rooted devices using the app. Additionally, we have updated the Discover section to improve navigation of articles.
