We are excited to have our new and current customers shift over to SURFboard Central and have worked to make the transition as easy as possible. For our SBG8300/SBG10/SBG7580-AC / SBG6950AC2 / SBG7400AC2/ SBG7600AC2 customers: New customers - please start with SURFboard Central App for onboarding and managing your device. If you already completed onboarding, no worries - you will be prompted to seamlessly transfer all your information to the new App. Existing customers - with this update, you will be prompted to launch SURFboard Central that will seamlessly transfer your existing configuration and settings to the new App. For our legacy device users: SBR-AC3200P / SBR-AC1900P / SBR-AC1200P / SBX-AC1200P Stay Tuned - we will be updating our Mobile Application to support these devices. For now, please continue to use the ARRIS SURFboard® Manager App to manage and configure your devices.
Change password but not username?
Overall, the setup was pretty simple. The only problem is that I can’t figure out how to change the password for the login. I got the password changed easily and then changed the SSID and password for the router, but nowhere do I see a spot to change the username from the default. Help?
Total Garbage
Don’t waste your time. Tech support is not free. I’ll be deleting the software and returning the modem as well. I will never buy another Arris product again.
TERRIBLE
Can’t access app or use controls unless your actually home, and connected to wifi . So if your wifi goes out you can’t even connect to the app etc . Just terrible to use all around
Useless
The equipment works great but this app is completely useless. I cannot even get into the app because the default login info does not work. Tried several things like deleting:reinstalling and disconnecting/reconnecting equipment without success. Tried calling but that lead nowhere. One number I was directed to call does not even work.
Worst app i have ever had to use
App literally does not work at all, does not let you log in, does not let you change anything, most of the time doesnt even show the wifi even when it’s connected to your phone. Straight garbage.
Ridiculous
I can’t begin to explain how disgusting this app is and how difficult it is to manage anything from usernames to passwords, etc.
Completely useless
Got stuck when I tried to select a time zone. Closed and reopened the app and it won’t recognize my credentials. This is one goofy app that isn’t worth the effort.
This App updates provides an option for SBG10/SBG7580-AC / SBG6950AC2 / SBG7400AC2/ SBG7600AC2 users to be migrated to our new SURFboard Central App seamlessly. Just launch this app and follow the instructions. All your configuration and settings will be copied over so you can enjoy the benefits of the new app! Stay tuned - all remaining gateways will soon be supported. Legacy users can still use this Application and return from SURFboard Central if preferred. This update includes several bug fixes.
