what’s up with the graph?
this used to work, but now, off and on, there’s nothing and it looks grayed out. TIR seems off when this happens. it really looks like it’s drawing the graph server side and updating the app, except it’s terrible at it now for some reason.
Not too reliable lately
Have the latest version of the Tandem app. Lately the connectivity to the pump and Dexcom g7 have been spotty at best. This has been happening with the last few versions on the iPhone 15pro max and latest versions of iOS. Don’t know if it’s iOS or the Tandem app. I’m also running the latest pump software update. Other than that, the features and functionality are great.
Was Great
Was a great app and general functionality is still most everything I need. However, recently the app constantly has issues displaying a complete graph and allowing you to view past boluses. Restarting my phone or reinstalling the app will fix it for awhile but it always goes back to not working as it should. The biggest issue is that when the app is not functioning properly it causes the pump battery to drain quickly. Like 90% to 45% in 8 hours. Used to be a rock solid app, unfortunately is now very flaky.

App not graphing data and is killing the pump battery.
Using G7 sensor. App version 2.7.1 Over the past week app frequently stops updating graphed data and then displays diagonal lines in a section by the most recent section of the graph. Current value and trend are displayed. Closing and restarting app will restore lost data, but it soon stops updating. The app is draining the pump battery. With the app running the pump lost 75% charge in 24 hours. I closed the app and charged the pump. The pump battery is still at 95% after 25 hours.
Love this App but it’s missing something.
The ability to have control over my insulin pump via my phone is really game changing. I really wish though that the tandem App connected to Apple health. It seems like Apple health is on the correct path and has the functionality already set up, but for some reason, tandem has decided to not allow this.
Battery drain
Tandem released an update and caused an issue without notifying users. My pump battery will go from 80%->10% overnight while I sleep. This used to last almost a week on a a full charge. Thought the pump was the problem. Turns out the mobile APP is causing the issues and they suggested to delete the app. But no broader notification was sent about the known issue Edit: developer replied that this was emailed. It was not. Moving the stars down to 1. Don’t gaslight girlboss your mistakes
