Oticon Mite
Very disappointed for the price. Used for approximately a year. The rubber that you use to pull out of your ear is too long and keeps extending out. Have four settings (P1-P4) sounds all the same. The app gives you no control. Only the doctor. What a waste. Expected a few problems but ….
Streaming EQ not working.
Just got my hearing aides. They are connected through the app and I can control the volume, but the streaming EQ does nothing when activated. Tried pushing everything all the way up or all the way down . No luck - any advice?
Getting worse
This has always been quirky but recently I have to delete and reinstall each time I take my hearing aids out and reinstall. Your other app which doesn’t get good reviews doesn’t work with my aids. This app is good when it works but recently that isn’t often.
Would be lost without them!
Lost one of my hearing aids and app came to the rescue. I would be lost without them. Excellent!
Oticon not responsive to user complaints
Both the Oticon On and the Oticon Companion have the left and right reversed on the screens, from what the hearing aids are, and there is no way to correct it. The service/ dealer personnel claim they have complained for more than a year, with no resolution Also the right aid repeatedly drops off my iPhone and has to be rebooted, if one wants to see / control it… been going on for more than a yr.. despite repeated upgrades. Not the best / most responsive system on the market … for the money… paid 6 grand
Issue
I am disappointed in the way this has gone it has too much update and not letting you know of that also I have to restart the program it was better working when it started but now it’s not doing so well so I cannot rate this beyond the two star and wondering what you can do to better improve the service I do need this program to accommodate what I need it for but the other problem I do not need to be frustrated about it .
5 Stars if….
It’s perfect when it works. But when Apple pushes iOS updates for security fixes, app developers need to keep up with the app to update with current iOS versions. It’s annoying to constantly force close the app and re-open the app to reconnect hearing aids with 16.5.
