Remote start
Once remote start the car, engine should not go off if door is open. All other features are great.
Best app
Best car app ever
Good for what it does
The Mercedes app works but is limited. You cannot open/close your windows or tailgate although it will notify you that they are open. Monitoring you battery status works great as well as pre-entry prep. Fix the issues with window and tailgate and the rating goes to .five stars.
Intuitive App
Great app, so far. However, it will be good to control music and volume on phone app too like I had on Tesla app.
Too Limited!
Please stop limiting how many times MY car can be started remotely. It’s MY car! Also, stop limiting starts based on amount of gas in the vehicle. Again, it is MY car!
No digital manual, limited options
Many issues… some with the app, some with the integration of the app, some with the Connect service that the app is supposed to enhance, and some with the AI which is supposed to tie everything together. It is very primitive, beta quality stuff. Can’t remote start with less than 20% gas. Why? Give me a warning and let me override it. I live in an exceptionally hot area and want my vehicle cooled before entering, it can be a safety issue. Cannot view or download my owners manual offline. This is a really big problem. I may need to look up something quickly, and neither the “Hey Mercedes” functionality nor the app can help me at all. The AI assistant couldn’t even answer simple questions about tire pressure. and if you call the Mercedes connect service, the operator can’t answer your model specific questions either. They can’t even tell you if the 12V plug in your trunk is on the left or right side for instance. Cannot make settings offline so they will sync — for example “car wash mode” in a 2024 GLC SUV disables a bunch of things. Disabling it does not reset those things, so your mirrors won’t fold in the next time you lock your vehicle. No way to reset these except individually while sitting in the vehicle. No way to backup settings to migrate to another vehicle. I hear this feature is available on S and C class. Why not GLC class? When I get my vehicle back from Mercedes service, sometimes seat settings and radio presets are reset. Why can’t I back this up using the app? Too greedy wanting to share info with third parties, yet does not send the information I need when I press the Connect button in the SUV. They need my name, phone number, email address, etc. every single time I call. By the time they enter all that information it’s been at least 10 minutes. Infiniti and BMW and even Hyundai don’t fool around like that. if it were an emergency, they are far too slow.
Nice App… but
Would be nice if it was compatible with the IOS ShortCuts app… no idea why it isn’t. Also need to be able to control the climate control and seat heating and cooling functions. Remote start is great, but even better if you can cool or heat the vehicle before you get in… the main reason why remote start is used. Thanks - looking forward to updates.
