The worst possible choice out of the 3 other competitors. They refuse to refund my money, I’ve paid for system 2 times in full. They’ve made 2 unauthorized charges on a credit card. Now I’m being penalized for paper statements, I’ve never seen a paper statement. Ever ! So, it’s unfortunate that I had to fill in one star, the other activities that continue to happen are unpardonable.
Terrible
The app will ask to setup a 2 factor system and almost force you to do it - which is counterintuitive in case of an emergency! It has delays in capturing videos and doesn’t always catch movements. The app has had updates so many times that simple features like sending videos from less than 24 hours ago are no longer available. Several times I’ve “armed” my home on the app and it doesn’t arm in the actual system.
It could be much better
What I love about the service/app/doorbell is when it goes out due to weather (which it should not) it reconnects itself. Coming from using Spectrum/Ring that’s a plus. The Con is just like ring it does not record every frame, takes a long time to load when checking to see whose at the door, it’s not safer but more convenient to just look out of the window. As with most things they work great in the beginning. I haven’t purchased anything new except more WiFi, but of course the advice is always the same, it’s not the alarm it’s your internet provider. 😑
Brinks mobile app
Camera view is static vs actual/live. Only activates when I select play. Maybe that is by design. Settings feature also freezes often. Called tech support which isn’t available until 7am, but the time zone isn’t mentioned. Tech Support should be available 24/7. Brinks may not be the best option for home security. May securing money is its optimal market offering. I am disappointed.

Great information and easy to understand
Horrific
App doesn’t work well. Pop ups interfere. The two factor authentication is faulty. Not user friendly. If I wasn’t locked into a contract I would switch immediately. Awful.
System is poor. App lacks support
An 800 # and a list of documents to read… that’s all the support you get from Brinks. Our alarm went off last night and no one from the monitoring service called us. I have to wait until Monday when the support 800 # has people working to call and ask why they didn’t do the core of their job on Saturday night.
