Brutally flawed app
If you have had ActiveBuilding in an apartment and you move. Your app is permanently UNUSABLE for new place with same device. Have to get a different device to pay. This BLOWS MY MINE these worthless app designers can’t fix such a FATAL problem. Absolutely brutal.
UPDATE YOUR APP
I can’t log into your mobile app at all. I need to pay my rent.
No notifications. Password save/Face ID don’t work
This platform makes no sense. It doesn’t have notifications, doesn’t keep me logged in, and charges absurd service fees if you try to pay with anything other than directly through your checking account.
App not working
The app won’t let me access the payment section of the app and won’t even let me pay my rent
Can’t add guests to my building. Now front desk is giving me a hard time.
I’ve been unable to add guests to my active building account for 2 weeks… I’ve tried to reinstall app and have had no luck. Unsure of what to do now.
Not very accessible
I have not logged into this app because I don’t have an account, because the website uses an accessibility overlay that prevents me from using the website with VoiceOver, but on the login screen of this app, multiple elements have incorrect accessibility labels, so voiceover is reading out something different than the text shown on the screen. If you’re blind, as many humans who live in buildings are, you will probably have a bad to unusable time trying to use this app to do things that are required to do to live in your building.
Notifications?
Why no notifications? At least for messages??
This release is mostly under-the-hood technical updates that will help us improve the ActiveBuilding experience in the future. There is no immediate change to either staff or resident day-to-day use. You will see an updated app icon, new colors, and a cleaner login screen.
