I noticed they added an extra $2 when recently buying a ticket using the app. I ended up just googling Marcus theaters and going straight to the website to order my tickets with no extra charges. It’s not a matter of not having it, it’s just the principle. What’s the point in using the app if you’re just going to be charged an extra money every time you want to buy tickets!?

Using iPad 8…clunky and not intuitive. Latest issue: Apple pay wouldn’t work for whatever reason, so app told me to try another payment method. I then chose CC and populated the data fields, but app wouldn’t let me attempt payment with anything but ApplePay. Had to back all the way out. Get new web design people. I hate this app. Only reason for 2 stars is it allows me to skip the lines

Doesn’t allow for use of multiple gift cards, or gift cards and credit card payments. It’s either your purchase is lower then the gift card balance or use your credit card, you can’t combine. Such a dumb problem to not even test for. My total was 44.78 and I had 2 $25 gift cards added. I can’t apply both to the purchase. I can’t apply a gift card and then pay the rest on a credit card. How in the world did this garbage even pass QA!!!

The app is fine and is certainly easy to find movie times, choose your seats, and buy tickets. The only trouble is when checking out, the interface is clunky and for some reason apple pay never works, and they do not take AMEX. Annoying.
