Take a tour of the mysterious Red Planet. This virtual globe combines a high-resolution satellite map with laser altimeter data and advanced topographic lighting to present the planet Mars as it appears from above. An Introduction and Guided Tour present some of Mars' most intriguing features. You can leave the guided tour and explore Mars as you like; over 1500 surface features have been annotated with information and links. Mars Globe is a must-have app for anyone interested in our solar system.
Not Bad
Not bad at all. Just dropping five stars. Will settle a curiosity, and raise a few new ones Like, you will wonder why the names of so many Martian features are from Earth. I really hope the developer goes on to landmark other things: perhaps Venus, and even the polar regions of earth.
Good
Very good, this is the true Google mars
Excellent but time for an update.
An excellent tool. However, I wish that the authors would update the spacecraft entries. The last vehicle they list is MSL Curiosity (2012).
Amazing!!! I love planet Mars!!! My 3rd favorite planet!!!
Mars,smsmsmsmsarrrrrrrraaaaaaaaabesttttt!!!!!!!'!¡!!!
S+
Mars globe is just that, and I commend it for that.
The best Ihave seen
This is the best Mars globe I have seen for the iPad. Worth getting if you are interested in Mars.
Good Globe
This is a very fine 2-D globe of Mars that looks 3-D. They have not updated it much for years, and the latest series of landers have yet to appear, but all in all it is a great globe.
This app has been updated by Apple to use the latest Apple signing certificate. • Updated for iOS 7 and iOS 8. iOS 7 or later is required for this update. • Supports full resolution on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. • Slightly improved graphics rendering (since OpenGLES 1.x no longer has to be supported). • Added MSL Curiosity time zone. • Added link to my new app for visualizing Mars Rover images, Midnight Planets.
