Perfect app for its purpose. I use it frequently. I keep hoping that the developer will produce a “deluxe” edition (paid version) that will let users click a geologic time unit to find out more, e.g. what defines that era, representative fossil images, history of discovery/naming, suggestions for additional reading, etc.).

Disappointed. Gives dates for eons, eras, periods, epochs and ages. And gives some tips on what world was like in some. Does not give meanings or origins of names or more importantly what changes occurred to necessitate a name change. Names without context are meaningless.
