My first big boy temp control unit
First off, kudos to the dev’s for this. Being a systems administrator I know it take work. Thank you for the work! I think being able to change your probe color would be awesome. Full RGB spectrum color change! I’m not color blind but people are. Having ALL your probes in the app different shades of brown isn’t great. If we could do the following: 1) Select and probe we want and change the color 2) For each specified color change, have a wheel or something of any full spectrum RGB color we desire I want my Fan to be Red, my Pit temp Green and my probes blue, Purple, Yellow, etc But the app itself kicks butt. Great job.
Needs live activity and Dynamic Island support!
Great app. Needs Dynamic Island and live activity support for viewing temps
Good hardware, frustrating app
I’ve been using a Fireboard for several years. I trust the probes to be accurate and use them instead of the ones my RT-680 provides. But this app is frustrating. I like the graphs and being able to inspect them so that I can judge the remaining time on a cook, but that’s about it for the good parts. First, it can only record in 24 hour intervals. I have smoked many Boston Butts that exceed 24 hours, and the break makes it difficult to see the whole cook in context. Second, and this is the one that has me writing this review today, IT WILL FORGET ALL CHANNEL LABELS AND ALERTS on a regular basis. So if you’ve configured your channels for common cooks, and you don’t inspect the configuration with each cook, you’ll probably end up overcooking because everything you’ve configured has been lost. I wish they would open source the backend so I could run my own local instance. At some point I’m going to get frustrated enough to reverse engineer it and write my own so that I can fix these absurd annoyances. 2024-3-11: One week later and it has lost my configured alerts AGAIN! Literally the next time I tried to use it. There’s no point to this app if it cannot remember configured alerts.
Solid app…..BUT
Sold app. Works perfect with zero issues for my Yoder 640s. My only complaint to the developers is why don’t we have a widget. Widgets are meant to get quick glance updates. Ain’t that why we have a app for are grills? Let’s get a widget & make this a 5 ⭐️app. Thank you.

Fix your WiFi.
Never used to be a issue. 2 years strong. As of now. Some times it’s works some times it don’t. Definitely a cloud issue. Yesterday worked fine. Today it don’t. Sick of it. Fix it!!
Alerts
Pretty useless not being able to save alerts into drive programs. That seems like a basic function. It is cumbersome to have to set alerts unique to every session. That’s literally what the drive programs should be doing.
Beacon and Commercial Users default to the Detail view dashboard Faster loading of data to the dashboard when the app returns to the foreground Fixed issue preventing manual mode fan speed before starting a Drive session
