Device stopped working
After using device a couple years it has stopped working. Web site offers no guidance on trouble shooting. Within 6 months of using the device 3 of the 6 probes stopped working.
Good App
Overall no issues with the app, very solid and easy to use. My suggestion would be to add a widget. Thanks!
Ok
The idea of having four probes sounded awesome. I came over from the weber igrill hoping to upgrade. But its not much of an upgrade. The app does not store data throughout a whole cook. The app should be upgraded to do that otherwise its just a fancy instant read thermometer. With the iweber app. I could monitor the history of the thermometer and i could save the cooking data of that particular cool.
Wrong temperature…maybe?
I’ve had this thermometer for a couple of years now and only use it inside when roast turkeys or prim ribs inside the oven. I’m currently using it outside to smoke a brisket and the temperature prob to tell me how hot it is inside the pit is off by 100 degrees. That’s just crazy. Spend the money and get a better Bluetooth thermometer.
Needs better tracking
Thermometer works great however the constant resetting of the temperature graph and the fact that you can’t save the graph is a definite shortcoming. Would be leagues better if it had these two fixes
Great for the real-time temperatures, not for the entire cook
The app really needs to store the historical info about the temperatures, not reset every time it drops connection. Otherwise, the app works well and have multiple settings (including custom) for each probe’s temperature or range and includes alarms.
Temperature graph resets
I am not sure why, but the temperature graph resets every hour or so when I smoke for 8-9 hours. It would be nice to have a consistent graph to see temperature fluctuations. Everything else is great otherwise. And OH the feedback option inside the app doesn’t work, I typed this whole thing, but the SEND button didn’t work, so leaving it here. Try it!
