this app does not work on my GV series projector. Support tells you just to use the remote that came with the projector, which is probably great advice if your toddler didn’t lose it. But mine did, so until I find it I’m stuck with this useless hunk of bits as the only option to control my projector. It’s 2024, I can’t think of a single reason why you would not put a functional remote control app into the App Store for a modern AV device. this is a real letdown BenQ. If I was still within the return window for my device, I would take it back to Amazon.
Not working after Android 12 update
I don’t know what happened, but this app no longer works, I can’t select anything (no double click or anything). If I open Netflix, I’m just stuck on the profile selector ZERO STARS!!!!!!
Absolute trash. Let me use my remote to watch Netflix
If I could leave a zero I would. I just want to watch a Netflix show on my projector. I just want to use my remote and click the Netflix icon and press play, but no. We get to use this “smart” control. If you’re going to include a mouse and a touchpad, please include a keyboard, so we don’t have to fumble about. If the app is required to control the Netflix app, please engineer it in some way so that it doesn’t disconnect every minute, requiring me to exit Netflix and reprompt the projector to find the phone. 0 out of 5. Make it so we can use a remote to use Netflix.
Rough round the edges
Needs more work. Take the Apple TV remote app it Roku remote app for reference. Ex. The keyboard input does not allow paste from phone functionality (handy to paste URLs and other long text)

I followed the online instructions exactly and it doesn’t work. I cannot watch Netflix at all now on my projector.

On GS3 device, app update no longer allows you to access the device over wifi.
