Great, Highly Recommended!
Most American Cities do not built transit systems if their cities have less than a certain population but RTD has impressed me! The system is really reliable and easy to use! But the thing that bugs me the most is 1st, The low ridership and 2nd, The Free MetroRide. The Free MetroRide should be re-opened once again because Covid-19 is over so it would make more sense if opened again. The 3rd problem, is how the H line doesn’t terminate at Aurora Metro Ctr. Station or Peoria. But it doesn’t bother me that much! I would highly recommend using RTD, it’s very cheap after the 2024 price changes and how it’s free to anyone 19 or under until September 2024.
Horrible Service
As a student, I use RTD Lightrail to travel to and from campus. But the constant delays and cancellations of trains on my route almost makes owning a pass worthless. I have wasted hours at lightrail stations waiting for trains that never come. This is especially concerning at night, because there is no security presence at most lightrail stops, and there are always bums and people using drugs. I do not recommend using this service if you can avoid it.

Almost as bad as RTD drivers
This app is a glorified web browser. Half of the time, it just brings you to the website. Things like live bus tracking, when the next bus/train departs, the ability to save bus lines, and in app navigation would make it so much better.
Needs improvement
It works fine for the basics- I have an Ecopass through work and can use the QR code to ride with no problem. My main issue is with the “trip planner” and “next ride” features. The buttons link you to the website that opens in your browser, and (at least for me) it never saves my information if I set my home/work, and I have to click past the tutorial/pop ups every time. Pretty annoying that you wouldn’t just include this into the app itself instead of linking it to a webpage.
Might as well be in another state
The trip planner function in this app is useless. It told me to walk a mile and a half away when I was at a bus stop and could see a bus down the street.
