Worst customer service. Never again!
I called to ask if the 2 hr parking is ok before I ended the trip and was told it’s ok. After I ended the trip they called back and said it’s not ok and I have to start another trip and find parking. I called twice to ask if place I was is ok, the lady with a French accent was very rude saying “of course you will find your parking on your own”. I was charged again for the second time. Worst customer service ever!
App is glitchy
Lots of error messages and very delayed clicking. Room for improvement on the software development end of things. Overall a great concept and enjoy using the service. Appreciate the 50% off the first few rides to get the hang of using the app and following its rules.
Unless you’re experienced, DON’T TRY THIS APP
The app allows you to find a car, unlock it, and relock it…that’s about it. It does not didcplay a map or give any guidance to where you can park. There are very few places you can park your car without being ticketed, so just get an Uber or take the bus.
Slow, Freezes, Partially nonworking
The overall design and layout is extremely well done and easy to navigate! However, the functionality struggles. For some reason in 2024 the app is taking longer to load , freezes, and gives frequent untrue/ inaccurate billing/ trip end& start error messages **regardless of how excellent cell service is**. (have a brand new iphone 15, don't blame the phone) eg: I frequently get a false payment error message only to find out that once I close and reopen the app my trip had actually been reserved and there was no point in the error message. Often times it's very difficult to know if your trip actually ended because it takes so long to load you can wait 5 minutes or more especially in low cell service areas. NONFUNCTIONAL: the place in your settings where you can update your personal information such as address and phone number (and even credit cards) do not update F2M's internal system. so basically it has no function at all, and is deceptive. My hidden out of date address ended up causing card verification/ payment rejections. it also caused an old credit card I had to removed months and months ago to be charged . They said it was "archived " but they could still charge it on their end.
Great service, horrible app
Whenever I can get the app to work, it’s amazing. My wife and I only have one car and in the winter, there are some days I don’t want to walk to work. Every time I’ve been able to use the cars, it’s been a 5star experience. But the app is so bad. The map takes forever to refresh and will sometimes just show no cars in the city, which is obviously a bug. A couple days ago I had to be at work at 6am for a meeting and decided to take a free2move since it was real early. I booked the car and got out there and I tried unlocking in 5 times with no success. I finally just gave up on it and walked. Now my entire app is bugged and it won’t let me cancel my reservation for the car even though it expires after 30 minutes. I totally recommend this but someone had to fix the app.
Shady Business Practice
They don't have any push notification on the phone so they won't let you know if your car is still running or the timing is going once you leave the vehicle. They will just charge you.
Horrible UX and service
I made a mistake because their App UX is terrible, and my trip didn’t end. They never notified me, just charged my card every day until I noticed 3 weeks later. $1100. Customer service wouldn’t let me talk to anyone with the ability to help, just an email saying they were keeping my money. No accountability, no way to get help. After seeing this review, the software team sent me a message asking for my case # to review it… from a “do not reply” email address and no way to respond other than attempting to navigate their customer support on my own again. This company is incompetent. If they see this, the case # is 1963096 but good god why is THIS how we are communicating?
