Terrible app
I have been signed up with Ipsy for about 2 years now. The app has never worked well. I have constant glitches and poor services. My app did not allow for me to cancel my subscription when it could not charge me at the beginning of the current month. 3rd week into the month I was charged almost 2 weeks earlier than the scheduled time for the next month’s glam bag. The bags are cute. The products have become monotonous. I still received items I checked off I was not interested in. I am grateful to try new skin products on my very sensitive and allergy prone skin. It was a fun treat to open a bag of miniature makeup monthly. I love all the bags and use them all quite often for various uses. To store my vapes, created an emergency medical kit, organize my electrolyte supplies, and many different types of art supplies. Thank you for our time together. I am moving on. Good luck.

I’ve been receiving Ipsy for a while now. Years. I stopped for a bit then started back up again. Never had issues with cancelling like a lot of other reviews mentioned. I think people need to take their time and actually read everything because Ipsy will ask you a few times if you’re sure you want to cancel or just pause. Anyhow, I was getting Ipsy and Boxycharm separately so it was nice to see them combined. I do receive items I end up gifting but I do that with all my box subscriptions. The only issue I have is that I do not receive any notifications when it’s time to customize my box. A few times I just so happened to remember that date and caught it just in time but as of late, I miss it and do not always want what is picked for me. I don’t get any emails or texts stating when it’s time to pick items. I only get shipping notifications or order notifications if I place a separate order, via email. When I go to notifications on my phone, Ipsy isn’t even listed as an app. Not sure how else to know when I can customize. That’s my only concern.

I started a subscription in January and then I switched over to a P.O. Box so I understand why I didn’t get the box it got lost. But after that I canceled my subscription and took my card information out of the app and everything says it’s canceled and nothing there but today 3 months later I get a charge to my account for a second glam bag I did not pay for. I redownloaded the app and searched for anything but nothing says I ordered anything. Do not trust this app.

Ipsy gives very cheap and bad products in their subscription. It’s not worth the money. A lot of their items they send you can find on clearance at tj maxx. They are using bot ratings which should be illegal. Their customer service is awful and their site is not user friendly. It took a long time to get my membership canceled yet today they still charged me after my membership has canceled and they locked me out of my account and you don’t have access to talk to a real person to get your refund. I’m telling you these people are scammers.
