I signed up for this app and was excited because not a lot of skincare apps exist and good-quality ones are hard to come by, especially ones that recommend products or routines. If you do want to get this app, DON’T SIGN UP! I wanted to sign up because typically with accounts on these kinds of apps, it becomes more customized and just a better experience overall. However, the sign-up on this app requires you to give your email, first and last name, phone number, MAKES YOU sign up for text alerts (not optional!), and MAKES YOU share the app with three friends/contacts via text or mail (also not optional!). Personally, I quit at that point because my personal information is important to me and I’m not going to give them more than they need to know, and also my friends don’t deserve an ad in the middle of the day. Just saying: I’m sure the app has some upsides and good qualities, but if the sign-up process is enough to raise some red flags and make ME quit, the app itself is probably worse. Reviews are all old and all I seem to get is brandefy trying to sell their own skincare line. No thanks. I’ll check in a day or two to see if it’s a fluke and then delete the fake app.
