Potential game changer

I know there’re many functionalities lacking still but just want to say I‘be been looking for a way to integration my notion database, calendar and work calendar for ages. This is a pretty good start.

Several bugs but good neat design

The software has bugs syncing with notion regular and when adding or changing an event you have to exit the app entirely on iPhone and Mac pls fix

My first review on an app

I’ve never written a review before, mainly because I’ve never cared enough for an application to get better. Notion calendar on the other hand is something that I’d be happy to see improvements on. Notion is an integral part of my life. And notion calendar also plays an important role in scheduling out events. While I use it and love the concept, it’s just not a five star app (Yet). There are multiple things of course that would allow notion calendar to be ranked with notion, and this would be: - Fully integrating the calendar in notion itself with the notion calendar. It’s a no brainer. It’s frustrating not being able to see the details of events I wrote while I was in notion. It’s also annoying that if I create an event in notion calendar it doesn’t automatically reflect to notion. - An element that indicates completion. I have some events that are “all day” as they don’t have a specific time, and it would be nice if when I mark them as “successful” or “done” in notion, perhaps it would reflect this by being crossed out or a changed color. It would really be a “to do list” feature that implements with notion and notion calendar. - Customization. This is obvious. Notion is a customization powerhouse. To have such a barebones calendar carrying the notion name doesn’t even make sense. Colors, fonts perhaps, layouts.. etc. That small stuff matters. - Better viewing. On desktop for notion calendar, I would like to be able to look at the calendar with a monthly overview, and see more than only 3 events per day with a “5 more” button that takes me to a weekly view. My suggestion would be a side bar that tastefully lists the events of the day like a to do list with time stamps. It would display when you click on each day. That would be incredible. - Team scheduling. The ability to see a team members schedule would be quite helpful. - Fix bugs. Again this is a no brainer. The one I’m getting annoyed with is that when I accidentally create a time block on notion calendar, it doesn’t delete when I hit the delete button. It would temporarily delete but then come back saying “unable to delete event” and then it’s stuck for a while. These are some of my suggestions. What could be a 5 star app remains 3 in my book until it’s as seamless and robust as notion itself. The integration of the two should be flawless and very easy. Again, notion calendar should be an extension of the calendar view that’s in notion. When it’s like that it’s a 5 star app.

Add optional events

Make a tab where you can turn on events to repeat on the correct day (Mother’s Day, x-mas other holidays)

A lot of potential, but not there yet.

This app is just a mirror for Google Calendar that links a little better to Notion. I love Notion and use it for every note I take ever. This app I do not love. Use Apple Calendar for now. Links to Notion the same. This will get better in time.

So much potential!!

I love notion and I’d love a better integration with my calendar, but this app is just too buggy. I’ve been using it since it launched and I’m still having issues with events disappearing (especially when there’s overlapping times), taking too long to show up on my calendar after creating (making me think it didn’t work), and an issue with the custom repeat screen (the days of the week listed are off by a day—after selecting a day of the week to repeat on, once you go back to the previous screen it’s off by a day). I have to go back to the default iOS calendar. I just wish it had the 3-day view like notion.

Lots of potential

If the developers update the Calendar with as much care and consistency as Notion, I can see it being a great app! Right now it’s just okay. The interface almost feels like it wasn’t designed for touch input. It’s a bit finicky, invites to events are only via email (can’t generate a link), and setting event times/dates feels clunky. Integration with Notion databases is nice. The aesthetic is great and it really is a joy to look at a neatly laid out and color-coded calendar. Keep it up devs! Please download this app so they can see its in demand!
