MUST HAVE FOR ALL CREATORS
Writers, creators, fashion designers, any type of artist needs this app. I’ve been searching for an app like this for a long time. I’m so happy to have finally found it rather than keeping everything in my head or notes. So easy to use. I’m so obsessed I am writing a 5 star review and recommending this to all of my friends.
Good Tool, But iPad App is Buggy
I’ve started to do more of my writing in the Milanote app. I enjoy writing on my iPad, but the MIlanote app is super buggy – i.e., won’t let me cmnd+z, the control panel at the top of the page often freezes up, etc. I’d love an update version that is less buggy.
Incredible app - update the iPhone version!!
This app is a favorite of mine for organizing creative concepts. I use it with my coworkers and friends to come up with ideas and plan out projects, it’s incredible. My only note for the developer is to change the iPhone version to reflect the visual layout of boards like you see on a desktop or iPad screen. :)
Best on iPad and computer
I am a film Director. I use this at school for when I’m doing my movie projects. This has helped me so much because then I don’t have to go on my computer switch between a whole bunch of different documents whenever I am doing a crew meeting. I recommend this app for any film majors anybody that’s in media looking to do a business it is very organized. I have been using this app for the last few days on my computer and it has been so easy for me to keep everything in one spot. I recommend getting this app it does for the free trial, but it does give a small amount of gigabytes for projects so if it is a big project I recommend getting the plan I do have it yearly and it has helped me a lot since I can bring my crew onto my project along with my cast and assistant. The thing I recommend for the developers of this program/app is to add more for film and TV category. more documents, but so far it has been good with the ones that are already on there I suggest adding more.
Won’t let me log in
As the title says, can’t log in with Google. Great service on desktop otherwise
Mobile is bad
At least on iPhone mobile is bad. iPad is good and desktop is great. Mobile never updates the notifications and also shares less info at a glance. I have team members who make comments and add stuff and they never show up on mobile notifications but then on the iPad they are. Also annoying that when ever you add a card on mobile it’s un categorized and you can’t move it anywhere till you get back to desktop which makes collaboration on mobile pointless. All of the things that make milanote a great app on desktop and iPad are completely loss in the mobile. Mobile seems to be incredibly pointless and counterproductive and really just good for quick looking at and not active use.
App Crashes within 10 seconds with exception
Fix the app! It crashes almost instantly. It works fine on desktop, but mobile never works properly. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Fix the bugs! I pay for this service, and I expect to receive what I’m paying for.
iPad improvements - Writing with Apple Pencil is speedy as ever! - The app now opens on the last viewed board (like it used to) - Improvements to dragging content - Undo/redo is more reliable - Line tool is easier to drag and connect - To-do lists are easier to use iPhone improvements - Fixed a bug related to loading shared boards
