Craft has…how do I put this…crafted a tool that feels like McGyver's Swiss Army knife of journaling, note taking, brainstorming, and planning. And they do this while making it easy and delighftul to use. My favorite part? I can make any page publicly available or sent it as an equally-gorgeous email and, bingo!, I have a pretty decent outbound marketing tool as well. Kudos to the Craft team for delivering Notion's prettier and more user-frendly sibling!

I have only been using this app for a couple of months, but I definitely like it a lot. The one thing I miss is the ability to use my Apple Pencil to quickly do a reminder or comment, or to sketch a quick diagram. I realize that would be a major change, but in my opinion such an improvement would make the app pretty close to perfect.

“Hey what if there was this perfect notes app for mobile” - craft developers probably Craft has absolutely every option, button, or toggle someone could possibly need to convert any thought into text. Many other apps allow markdown, text coloring and other styling options, but this is the first I’ve found that handles it on mobile this well. The design is very well thought out and executed, with so many features packed into an unobtrusive layout. Keep in mind the free version only allows you to make ten notes at first, and then a bonus two per week. Very nice app 👍

Before discovering Craft, I had been using Obsidian as my primary note taking/personal knowledge management/second brain app. Obsidian was ok, but it was the wrong kind of complicated for me. Being a creative and visually-oriented person, Craft is more up my alley. While there are some features I miss from Obsidian. I.e. tagging, the ability to make the daily note pop up automatically when the app opens. I’m very pleased with Craft. Especially the extensive template library and AI assistant aspects. Can’t wait to watch this app grow and improve overtime.

Update 4/5/24 All these “features” and still can’t do the most simple thing: ADJUST TYPEFACE SIZE. So user hostile to those of us with any vision impairment. Also can’t simply copy/paste into an email, notes, doc without having strange things happen to formatting. I just don’t get it. 😔 I’ll keep checking every update and update this review and unfortunately stick with Evernote until then which allows users to do this.
