Worst than Useless
I bought the Sandisk connect wireless stick several years ago. To my surprise and horror, the videos that I put in there cannot be read by my IPhone SE3, IPad 9 and my windows PC. I entrusted my priceless videos into this product and I can’t retrieve them.
Needs update
Won’t let be navigate the app. Won’t let me click ,touch the back arrow.
Used to be great. Not updated for years !
Sandisk haven’t updated this as likely they want you to buy a newer version of their Wi-Fi usb drive. It still works on an older iPad OS but on the latest it’s a no go. This is the second time I have had this kind of thing happen with Sandisk products. So goodbye Sandisk. I will find another brand instead.
Garbage
Won’t stay connected for longer than 20 seconds. On the rare chance it may connect for any longer, it still won’t stream video either direction, and can barely load thumbnails. Horrible bandwidth, and app seems broken..
Can’t connect to it on the SanDisk
I’m trying out on PC I can’t connect to it because it keeps saying can’t reach this page🗿
Planned obsolescence
There’s no reason why this app shouldn’t work with my older sd card SanDisk wireless flash drive ($70) but they decided to make two apps and “discontinue” the other one so my device is completely useless now
Actually Unusable
This app is hasn’t been updated in 4+ years and is a complete mess on iOS 15.6.1 on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Any navigation in the app’s menus fails to clear the UI completely and leaves “buttons” (well, icons, since they just straight up copied the material component library at the height of its popularity with next to no customization) overlaid on top of the new view. Aside from this making navigation icons completely unrecognizable, it also prevents you from tapping them - hopefully the feature you needed was within one tap of the home screen! It’s a little bit sad that WD/Sandisk abandoned this product. The hardware is really interesting, and if it could actually be used as a NAS it would instantly find a home in millions of peoples’ home media setups, 3D printers, etc. Oh well.
