Results are hidden behind a steep paywall
You spend 10-15 minutes to get your first result and then can’t even see what the results are unless you pay around $60 for at least three months. I didn’t get an option for a free trial either so it just wasted my time.

It’s so expensive and for a video game yes I have adhd and my kids have it too but I already have to pay for meds for 3 ppl with ADHD a game that can help us should be free with all the challenges we have to deal with in a day already 130$ a year should not be one of them. And I hate to burst your bubble but the game is subway surfer and that’s free so I’ll stay with that. I don’t need a game to tell me what I already know I have.

Don’t rely on the negative reviews from people who forgot how the App Store works with free trials and automatic subscriptions, or the people complaining that the game isn’t the most fun. It’s definitely fun for treatment and I noticed a difference after my very first session. It gets harder as you improve to keep challenging you, the harder the game gets the easier my life gets. One of my biggest struggles with ADHD is executive disfunction and all the extra time it takes me to start and complete tasks due to all my dilly dallying, committing to this treatment plan has cut down that time DRASTICALLY as well as all of the anxiety and depression that used to result from the struggle. Now I just plan something and I do the thing? I feel so efficient and my confidence has significantly improved. Bonus tip: if you meditate or have a brief period of non-sleep deep rest within four hours of a session (or any kind of study session) it helps your brain to really rewire all of those changes in your brain aka it makes your brain a better sponge for everything you are learning.

I downloaded this app but there’s no free trial period and the smallest amount of money you can put in just to create an account is $70 for 3 months. Can’t believe they expect someone to pay that much without even knowing what the app does. Edit since developer responded to me: I understand that a week is too short of a time to see whether your product is effective, but you’re asking people to commit to spending at least 7 hours using an app without knowing what the time will be spent doing. You don’t even have any videos. What if I hate the game? I either have to continue playing it 10 minutes a day for 6 weeks or I’m out $70? That’s absurd.

TLDR; This is not a treatment for ADHD/ADD, it’s just a bad game. The research backing this is weak at best. Rich people made this to get richer by accessing your health insurance money. This game requires an actual medical care provider to prescribe it to you because it takes advantage of a legal loophole that was put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic to allow companies to access health coverage to experiment with apps and devices aid in Telehealth communications and other remote health care to aid in the global health crisis. This app is not FDA approved or certified as a treatment for ADHD. Read the fine print for details. Also take a look at the Terms of Use and Privacy policy as you may be divulging more data than you may be comfortable with. This game only addresses one small facet of a multifaceted mental health issue, FOCUS. They measure the success of the product by whether or not individuals were able to focus on the game for a bit. Their only “research” was testing a group of only about 200 people of which only about half mentioned that their focus had changed while playing the game. As others have pointed out, any video game will do this. Other games will do a better job of stimulating the brain, improving skills, and engaging the user in meaningful activity. This game is repetitive, boring, clunky, and ugly. The points don’t mean anything. You will not gain any new skills from this game. This game is not an appropriate substitute for ADHD medication or counseling, nor is it even an appropriate addition to the many tools out there for treating ADHD. DO NOT under any circumstances use this as the only treatment for ADHD. It’s the equivalent of telling a starving person to go eat some air. Will it fill your stomach? Maybe a little? Will some people tell you it works? Absolutely. Will it actually work? Of course it won’t.
