Recommendations are personalized and based on your personal risk factors. You will receive timely updates with important news and alerts from BC’s Ministry of Health. Recommendations and content are automatically updated based on the latest BC guidelines related to COVID-19. This application has been developed in collaboration with Thrive Health, a Vancouver-based healthcare technology company. SAFETY & SECURITY: You will only be asked to provide your age, postal code, and device location. The data you provide will be combined with all user data and used to inform the provincial COVID-19 response, and to allow you to receive location-based alerts. Your data will not be sold. Your data will not be used for any purpose other than health care. We follow industry best practices for data security and privacy. The data you provide is always encrypted and is stored in Canada.
I give this app a 40% rating
30% of the time it opens and you can do the self-check, 10% of the time it opens first try, but unfortunately 60% of the time it freezes up my whole device and I have to wait for it to process before it unfreezes. Then try to close and restart this app to try again, often multiple times. When it works it's great but normally it doesn't. And yes it's just this app, no other app on my iPhone has such effects. Don't bother with this app unless you're mandated to use it, and if that happens... buckle up for a bumpy ride, and good luck. A P.S. TO THE DEVELOPERS...Since they are making people get the vaccine it might be a good addition to add the questions ‘Have you had your first vaccine?’ ‘Have you had your second vaccine?’ to the COVID-19 Check-in section so that you can better track illness/infection rates vs vaccine rates. Better safe than sorry and less work over all.

Self check reset
The self check doesn’t even reset at the end of the day, you’re able to use results from days, weeks ago as a “clearance” check. Kind of irresponsible if you ask me.
