Old app
For years I had this app and loved it. I could start my truck up during the cold weather while inside my work place and my truck would be nice and warm when I got off work and drove home. I had navigation in my 96 model and was able to send places and addresses to my truck without having to leave my couch. Suddenly it’s not the same app. I bought my 1999 GMC Denali and nothing that I use to have on the old app was on there any more. In order to use my navigation I have to be setting in my truck. That’s not hard to do but, when I use to be able to do that inside on my cell phone and just send it to my truck, it just isn’t the same. Oh yeah. It’s not free anymore either. Sure would be nice to have my old app and not have to pay for all the these things that I don’t use with the option of getting these other apps if needed.
Incredibly not reliable
This app could literally cost you your life. The whole point of the back up system is to allow you access to your car. This app works sometimes. We have a Land Rover and a BMW their apps are excellent. When you are freezing to death outside your car, you were regret having a GMC.
Kinda works
I don’t like the two-step verification process. By the time I find the secret code in my spam folder and enter it, my wife gets home and I don’t need to see if she’s on the way.
App not loading now
Hello, Have been using this app since 2022 and over the last few weeks it will not load. Called onstar and they are trying to assist but to no avail. I have the latest software on my iPhone and have deleted and downloaded the app multiple times and still doesn’t work. Please assist!
Cant log in
Won’t let me log in, says it will email me a code but that code never comes. Fix this asap
Doesn’t work
This app doesn’t allow me to sign in. Ever since they revised it to include the two-step sign in, I can’t access my vehicle. I never receive the code that’s required. Don’t you just love the to-step sign in for wonderful security? It used to "kinda" work - sometimes, though often my wife would return home before I was able to "find the vehicle" on their map to see if she was done shopping. Thanks for nothing, GM.
I need app support
This app never notifies me when charging is completed! GM needs to do better.
