Bad Software and Hardware
Nothing is working with the app nor with the hardware. I’ve been paying 2 years for nothing. And no one can we reach out to. The help page is even down. Trying to convince my apt management to remove this bozzo

At first I thought this was going to be great. I have been using dwelo for over a year and I’ve been really disappointed. - the app is almost never correct on if your door is locked/unlocked - the press to unlock/lock takes so much time, that I don’t use it. My keg is faster and I know it will unlock. With the app, I never know. - I have integrated it with Alexa, but it disconnects about every 2 weeks. While it’s not hard to reconnect, this shouldn’t be a constant, annoying issue. - can’t run a schedule in the thermostat. -can’t control the brightness of the lights. I don’t use them because they are so bright. My eyes feel like I’ve been staring at the light in the dentist office. I have lamps that I use and am able to control. I had google nest thermostat at my last place and I was much more impressed with its capabilities and how user friendly it was. Dwelo is unreliable. Obviously my apartment complex went with the cheapest, unreliable, low tech “smart” system despite charging an outrageous amount of money for a tech fee.

I have been using dwelo for almost a year at an apartment complex that won’t allow me to opt out of the technology fee. For the first 6 months, I was hugely disappointed to find that dwelo doesn’t offer any kind of automations with their service. I mean, it’s kind of nice to control things from your phone, but if I still have to manually bump the temp on the thermostat from my phone whenever I want it to change, I might as well be just pressing an actual thermostat. I just think the whole point of an app controlled system should be to automate your devices so you don’t have to think about them. Or else it’s not worth the money. After 6 months, I realized I could try integrating dwelo with third party apps. I spent a month and a half with Alexa and now have been trying Google Home. Both say they are compatible and work seamlessly for about a week - then become dormant. My automations stop working and say that my dwelo devices are ‘unresponsive.’ I am forced to disconnect, reconnect, and start the week-long process again. It’s exhausting. I’ve reached out to dwelo support multiple times and have gotten unhelpful responses and now haven’t heard from them at all. I wish I could use a different system altogether.

It’s a cool feature to have but if you also use Alexa to connect this app, it only works for a day or so. Each week the skill has to be reconnected and it’s annoying. Y'all need to work with Amazon to fix this issue
