It pays to take steps toward a healthier lifestyle. Simply put, UnitedHealthcare Motion® 1) gives you three daily walking goals and 2) rewards you financially for achieving them. Our walking goals are designed to promote health and wellness. Reaching a high daily step count can be important, but there’s more to maximizing the health benefits of walking: Motion’s “FIT” goals are a prescription to move with Frequency, Intensity, and Tenacity every day. Did you know that even a 1-hour workout may not be enough to reduce health risk factors if the majority of your day is spent sitting? We lose two hours of life for every hour we sit, Dr. James Levine, a professor of medicine at the Mayo Clinic, writes in his book “Get up!” Let Motion incent you to get up frequently for brief walks every day. Money may be a good incentive. UnitedHealthcare Motion gives you the opportunity to earn over $1,000 per plan year for out-of-pocket medical expenses by doing more of what you may already do: walk. You can earn for one, two, or all three goals each day. Earnings are deposited quarterly into an HRA or HSA, as applicable. HEALTH APP DATA With your permission, UHC Motion app reads data from the Health App specific to your workout or exercise activities for the day. Our app uses this data to provide you with additional options to achieve your health and wellness goals.
Syncing
Sinking has been a problem for the last few months. It’s not just me because my coworkers and I are on the same program and they have different watches than I do and they’re also having an issue with updating or syncing. I’ve lost probably at least $10 because my app wont sync!!!!!
Frequent Bugs
Frozen opening page. I can only view the app once after restarting my phone. This after months of having to restart my phone in order to force it to sync. Why is so hard to have a functional app? After more than a year the app still freezes in the startup page. I have to restart my phone to get the app to open.
Doesn’t sync half the time
I’ve tried everything to get the motion app to sync with my Fitbit and for the past 5 months it just won’t work properly. I’ve contacted support and they’ve been unable to resolve the problem.
Syncing btwn Apple Health app and this app rarely works
This app has one singular purpose and it constantly fails at doing what what it’s supposed to do. If I wasn’t getting the financial incentive to use this app, I would have deleted it long ago. I don’t own a watch or other wearable. All I’m trying to do is sync the Apple Health app on my iPhone with the UHC Motion app on my iPhone. Today Apple Health is showing I have… - 8 frequency segments - 1 intensity segment - 21,326 tenacity steps The UHC Motion app is showing the following and won’t update unless I delete the app and reload it, which I’ve been doing every day just to get it to sync… - 3 frequency segments - 1 intensity segment - 40,449 tenacity steps
Same old same old
I was in shock to learn that the issues that this app has right now are the same that were reported 3 years ago!!!! The app works fine for a couple of days then stops syncing properly. You can contact support as much as you want… same answer “it will take 2 to 3 business days to address your problem “. Very unreliable and frustrating.
Constant Issues with this app
I have had this app for years and there is constant issues. Lose out on steps getting recorded even though it states data is stored.
Sync does not work well between Apple Watch and iPhone
I’ve been using the app for six months. Syncing constantly breaks. I close the app and then reopen it, and still it tells me last sync 10 hours ago. Scrolling from top to bottom does not work either in that instance.
