The Boston Sensor is a wireless Bluetooth Low Energy sensor that records the internal temperature of the brace so the patient can see their actual wear time. This data may be downloaded via your smartphone or tablet. The downloaded report shows the daily wear patterns and the average hours worn per day over the selected time period. These reports can be easily sent via email to any member of your care team to review such as your Physician, Orthotist, Physical Therapist, or Nurse.
Disappointing
Lots of bugs, and data not displayed in a helpful manner.
Has a bad bug
The raw data is correct but when it calculates daily totals it is allocating some data to the wrong date. I suspect this is a time-zone problem. For example, I just downloaded data that only goes to April 5 around 11:40 PM. However, in the summary of daily totals it puts approximately three hours into the total for April 6, a date for which it has no data at all. Even worse, and a separate problem, all day totals are labeled wrong by one day. So the April 6 data mentioned above is labeled April 7, and only when I put the cursor on it to show the numerical hour total does it reveal that it is actually meant to be April 6. It’s so messed up it’s going to make so many parents and patients angry.
