Seamless!
The new update to this app is a game changer. Personally, it adds so much convenience to my everyday banking on the go. Whether I’m using the calendar function to plan my finances, or exchanging money with friends, RBC Wallet allows me to feel a strong sense of control over my money while maintaining a sense of security.
Terrible App
Signing into this app is a poor user experience at best. I need to use it because the other two forms of Apple Wallet verification do not work. Specifically, your password fields don’t seem to allow paste functionality over a specific number of characters.
Ridiculous bloatware backed by incompetent infrastructure
Let’s start with the obvious: Requiring customers to download a proprietary app to be able to use a built-in iOS function is ridiculous. No other bank necessitates this, only RBC prevents you from simply going directly into Apple Pay and adding a card. Secondly, verification is broken. If you’re not the primary account holder using the primary client card with the primary card number, it just doesn’t work. The app doesn’t even recognize verification attempts for secondary client cards with different numbers than the primary. Trying to circumvent the app with support or through text messages just makes the secondary cards get denied when attempting to pay for purchase with Apple Pay. Thirdly, using the app directly and letting it try and add a card to Apple Pay itself automatically forces the primary card to get added with no option for secondary cards to even be chosen. This is what happens when you poorly design your infrastructure to be dependent on client card numbers as identifiers than actual accounts/people.
New update just broke the app
What a poor, unorganized release. Was forced to update the app and now the tap to pay function is officially broken. Don't waste your time. Stick to TD.
We’ve updated the interface for upcoming activities to show you a better view of your monthly financial activity.
