This is the worst banking app I ever used
Not working for US bases customers
the app Is asking for sending sms to Indian number from USA, and the sms is not going through, hence not able to use app.
THIS app not for people non Indian living outside India
Not work on iPad with no sim. Also not work on iPhone becaus security messages not deliver or response.
Problem with OTP & advtz make app difficult to use
The otp shows up and vanished without getting copied. Thereafter the OTP sms also gets into deleted messages that need to recovered. The keypad does not close automatically. The loan advertisement at bottom is a nuisance and has to be specifically closed. I doubt any other bank subjects their customers to forced acknowledgement of their promotions. This is despite filling the elaborate do-not-disturb form on HDFC website.
Unable to access NRE/NRO account from US.
The update made it so you need to use Indian mobile number which I do not have as living in US.
Stop showing Ads in the app
This is outrageous and the worst experience showing ads in the app. Please stop this cheap way to promote your products and services. Whoever is your designer ask them to create separate section in the app with all this. If customer is interested they will go. But you are spoiling the customer experience. If this continues you’re going to loose NRI customer. Have never seen such things in any banking app.
