Will not stay connected
I have it constantly delete and download this app to be able to have an active doorbell camera. I do not recommend.
UPDATE THE APP!!!
This app has not been updated in YEARS! Seems a bit odd for such a popular security device company. My DVR and cameras work great but I do not get ANY notifications for motion. Spent money on some Zumimall cameras that work great and I get notifications without any issues. Then if there’s anything suspicious, I use my Night Owl DVR as back up to see other angles. Such a waste of an app. Such a trash app. Update the dang app! You’ve had several years to do better!

Please update this app to have the same functionality that it does within an android phone. I’ve had it for years and it’s very disappointing that there’s no update or fixes. Have a better functionality with the app.
App Notifications
Update 4/9/24. Still no updates , no push notifications . How long does it take to update this app?😡Still no push notifications. No App updates. 2/9/24 still no motion detected notifications 😡 I have not received a app notification since mid nov last year 🤬what is being done to fix this issue? The response i got last month about IOS focus feature was not the problem please see my response below regarding that. When can us users of this app expect the app update to fix the lack of notifications? 1/24/24 The IOS Focus feature is not the problem. I enabled notifications even though i didn’t use Focus feature .Made no difference. Still not receiving push notifications. App does not show up in app refresh list as well. What is being done to fix this issue. ?
App alerts don’t work
This rating is for the app specifically. Cameras and dvr work great, have had them for almost 3 years but the app suddenly stopped sending me motion detection alerts. Nothing will correct it; uninstalled app, reset cameras, nothing is working.
Not receiving notifications on iPhone
Since about 6 months ago I have stopped receiving any notifications on my iPhone for any of my 4 cameras. I was receiving notify regularly from when I installed (about 3 years ago) until now. All hooked up correctly. Re ran quick setup. Connected Ethernet to the internet. Says it has the latest firmware. Deleted and reinstalled the app. I can view the recordings through the app but not getting any notifications.
