Nice Ride consists of a fleet of specially designed, durable bikes that can be rented from our network of docking stations throughout the city. Our bikes can be unlocked from one station and returned to any other station in the system, making them ideal for one-way trips. Bikeshare is a greener, healthier way to get around — whether you’re commuting, running errands, meeting friends, or just exploring the Minneapolis area.
The Nice Ride App gives you access to thousands of bikes in your area — unlock and pay directly from the app and get going.
The Nice Ride App also shows upcoming public transit departures, with walking directions to stations and stops. Including: Metro light rail trains, Metro Express & Local buses, Metro A & C Lines, Metro Airport shuttles, the Metro Northstar Link, Southwest Express & Local buses, Plymouth Metrolink buses, Maple Grove Transit buses and the UofM Campus Shuttle buses.

I'm in MN for one month. I bought 'one month pass' on Nov 2, and just a few days after that I got notified that the service will be closed from Nov. 14. I think it is quite rational to expect such information to be shared before you pay for a one month pass!
I had the worst experience using their scooters that clearly are broken I paid $5 something dollars and it said I was on it for 6 minutes when I wasn't even on it for even at all because it wouldn't move I had to walk and try to move it but it was stuck so do not recommend this to anybody
This was truly a disappointing experience. There is no way to access these bikes without a smartphone and this app. We went to several kiosks and while it appeared to give the option of renting with a card and without the app, once you turn on the kiosk it only says "download the app." My partner downloaded the app and it immediately locked his account for an unknown reason and our plans to bike around Minneapolis were cancelled. The customer service was dismal and no one was able to assist.
Navigation in the app is awful. Going out of the way to find a dock to park is the worst. Bikes are too tall and the brakes barely worked.
Ride was great! But seat would not stay as high as desired.
