The official app for Divvy, Chicago’s bike share system.
Divvy consists of a fleet of specially designed, sturdy and durable bikes that are locked into a network of docking stations throughout the city. Our bikes can be unlocked from one station and returned to any other station in the system, making them ideal for one-way trips. Bikeshare is a greener, healthier way to get around — whether you’re commuting, running errands, meeting friends, or exploring in a new city.
The Divvy App gives you access to thousands of bikes in your area — unlock and pay directly from the app and get going.
The Divvy App also shows upcoming public transit departures, including CTA ‘L’ train lines, local & express buses, shuttle buses, the Jeffery Jump Bus, Metra trains, PACE buses and the South Shore Line train.
Within the app, you can purchase the following Divvy passes:

Happy riding!
I want to see more of the new ebikes docked at the Divy stations, since all evidence suggests that Chicago is not a safe city for cycling with manual bikes due to abundant potholes present and the inconsistent allocation of bike lanes, where oftentimes cars are parked in said bike lanes. Thus putting the divvy cyclist in question in harm's way unnecessarily. At least with the new 25mph ebikes, it's alot easier to manavour yourself out of danger.
The app is very inaccurate as far as changing you. My wife and I had a 2 hour bike ride on a e bike and were charged $125. Completely disappointed. not recommend use the train or bus.
Pretty convenient
Terrible ebike rates. The day pass says ebikes included but at a higher rate, which you have to open a separate page to see the rates. Not something you look at when you're trying to just grab a bike and go. I was charged an additional $50+ on top of the day pass for less than 2 hours. Completely rip off
eeeeer-mazing! Love the convenience!! thank you guys
They stole money from me for an additional 15 minutes because the bike was unable to be unlocked so the timer kept running. I've seen multiple other commenters state the same thing happened. Customer service is a joke and they train their people to not help you in order to gain extra $$. What a costly 2 minutes. Only use this app if you want to throw money in the trash.
Worst experience ever. We had issues with bikes working, got over charged, talked to a supervisor, he said he couldn't help me so he was hanging up on me. I highly reco.mend not using this company.
