External links don’t work 100% of the time
It’s a decent browser, but the dealbreaker for me is the fact that links just don’t open sometimes. I think the app needs to be open in the background or something in order to work. Imagine pressing a link in some other app, and Orion opens up, but nothing happens. It’s just on some old tab. Therefore I can’t recommend Orion for use as a default browser at this time. Other than this, it works alright. But until they get that fixed, I’m not using this browser.

Along with the Cookie Dialog Monster Extension for Firefox I can finally browse the net without any pesky cookie nag that plagued each website and created a nuisance at least for me upon browsing the net. This is the only combination that works 100%, others are a hit or miss..

Good app, the chrome extensions stopped working though

Feels like native safari. That’s my number one necessity I like native feeling apps. Blocks ads. And can use third party extensions. 10/10 Falls short in opening links. Sometimes I’ll click an external link from an app like Reddit. And it’ll just open the browser to the page it was on previously (meaning it didn’t open the hyperlink I clicked) I need to then go back to the app, click the link again. Then it’ll follow through. More inconsistencies like this exist. But they’re worth it for the feel and look of the app. Extremely pleasant to use.

It is rare that a product is 10x better than its competitor. This is one such rare case. This app makes me feel like I’m back in 2008 before mobile ads destroyed the mobile browsing experience.
