The ezDevice APP is for device with UIS (Uninterrupted Internet System) or Auto Reset function. Currently supported device: MSNswitch2, ezOutlet5 and ezJack. Internet users at one time or another have experienced the pains of network loss. In most cases, this is resolved by rebooting the router which can be annoying and a pain if it involves a long drive to the site. In comes UIS devices. These devices are designed to monitor and automatically power-cycle it’s outlet when a network failure is detected. This is achieved by connecting the router’s power to the UIS device and have it check the internet connectivity. Majority of network disconnections can be resolved this way - saving both time, costs and headaches. The user can also check on the status and perform a manual reboot of the network device to ensure optimal functionality. UIS devices can also be configured to perform power on, off and reset at scheduled times. Setup is just a few simple steps; i. Install ezDevice APP and sign up for a free cloud account to centralize and manage your UIS devices. ii. Connect power and ethernet to UIS device. iii. Add UIS device to APP over LAN or WAN. iv. Enable UIS (Auto Reset) function – Done.
Login problems still not fixed with today’s update
Hard to understand why developers can’t fix the problem of needing a password every time this app is opened. It’s been in the reviews forever. Can’t they interface with facial recognition like most other apps do these days?
All devices are showing “No longer associated”
Why are all of my devices showing “ No longer associated”?
Needs iOS 16.1
Won’t work on iPhone7. Used to. Now the old app won’t work it requires you to update the app. But iPhone 7 does not work on iOS 16.1. EZ device….deleted.
Completely unreliable
As others have said, my UIS devices sometimes go Offline without notice. They appear, then they “go grey”. Logging in to the device with a browser shows all is OK except “Cloud Status Enabled (Offline)” and no amount to Disable/Enable gets it back. App is an aggravating waste of time.
Won’t save password
Not usable currently as I have to manually enter a password each time.
Needs A LOT of work
I had a similar issue as another reviewer. Spent hours trying to get the cloud connection working and it turns out it was on the backend where the problem was. My biggest issue is I have to login every time I open the app. The password manager doesn't recognize it either because there is no website associated.
Feb 2023 update is not good
Latest update eliminated saved password so you have to keep the password with you somehow. Please fix this!!!!
