Really Solid
Only things I’d like to have added: 1) a filter on the map so that only bookmarked things are shown 2) waypoints and mileage distances on the trail maps Otherwise, awesome. Has bookmarks and even contour lines while also listing pretty much everything you could want. Download feature is smart too

First of all this park rocks! Kings canyon is the most underrated park in the USA. I loved it. The app made it that much better. . . . . The only improvement is that they could either take better pics of the plaques or type out the information contained on the interpretative plaques. Peace.
United StatesAmazing app if downloaded before trip
We used this app on our recent trip to sequoia. It worked like a charm. We were actually on trails and when the kids would ask “how much further” I could see is as a blue dot on the trail. You need to download before your trip and make the content available offline. The best app! I had my paper map available as well but this alleviated the need for that.

I downloaded this map thinking I would download it just in case I needed it for something, downloaded the map before I got to the park, and realized how I would NOT have survived without it. I am extremely grateful for this app, as it guided me to the greatest spots in the park. Download it!!
United StatesHuge Help for Navigating The Sequoias
I don’t write reviews at all but I feel so compelled to write one for this app because it was such a huge help. Thank you so much for all the hard work that was put into this great app. There are no cell service in the Sequoias and this app saved us from having to navigate through the park. Make sure to download the map for offline use before entering the park and make sure your internet is fast because you will have to download a big data. The app can track you via GPS and it has all the attractions/spots/campgrounds/etc marked down. I’d give it 6 stars if I could :)

Hello, if you have the app, as of 7/2/20, I was able to download offline content after I deleted the app and reinstalled, so the map is working wonderfully! Sequoia is the best and I am excited there is a way to view to features of the park without fiddling around with guides and maps, thank you NPS!
United StatesOffline Map DL Feature Never Works
Sort of defeats the purpose of having this app on my phone if I can’t download the map to use off-line since Sequoia Kings Canyon national Park has absolutely no cell service available and definitely no Wi-Fi to be able to use my phone off-line. This seems like a bug that they should be able to fix pretty easily but there seems to also be a lot of complaints about it so I don’t know how useful this app really is.
