What a comeback.
I was pleasantly impressed by the quick fix to the latest version. Adding the create a Postcard of a visit to a NPS site is great, especially since it has the NPS logo and park’s name on it. You can create a National Park Site album in your photos and then move each postcard to the album. Only thing I hope you add back is the total number of parks visited. That was a feature of lists but is not included in the parks visited section.
You fixed it!
After the latest update (1.16) the app was no longer opening! It kept crashing but looks like you fixed it! Thank you so very much! It’s a nice build now that’s it’s working again. For everyone out there who was having issues like me, this is what I did to make it work again. I had to completely delete the app and then reinstall it. Unfortunately I lost all my data in the process. That is a bummer and have to start logging all my stops again but it’s worth it. The version is very smooth and doesn’t freeze up anymore! It was worth it. This app is great and so are the people who work on it for us. Also, for those of you who wants your lists back, they are still there, under favorites you can make as many new lists as you like just like before. This app helps tremendously with all your NPS needs and planning. May I remind everyone also that’s it’s free! Safe travels everyone and happy exploring!
App no longer opens on my iPad
Newest (4/2/24) update works on my iPhone but will no longer open on my iPad 6th gen running iOS 17.4.1. Please debug this! I enjoy the app and like using it on my iPad because it is easier for me to read.
You broke it!
After the latest update (1.16) the app will no longer open! It shows a black screen with the NPS logo for about 20 seconds and then crashes!! It never goes beyond the first screen. Please fix it! I’m going on a National Park road trip in a few days! I rely so heavily on this app. Please, please fix it!
Latest update
App worked great until the latest update. Now it won’t load. The NPS logo comes up and shortly after it goes off. I’m running the latest version of ios. Previously the app worked perfectly and that includes yesterday. This morning I downloaded version 16.1 and that was when the problem reared it’s head. Yes, I shutthe phone down and restarted. I don’t think you can reverse an app update to go back to the previous version.
What happened to my lists?
I really like this app and I enjoyed being able to make lists to keep track of parks I visited, parks I plan to visit in the near future, and remaining parks. With the latest update, those lists are gone! Please bring them back!
Must have app
Must have app for visiting parks. The suggestion for using the east entrance at the Grand Canyon was a godsend. Saved us hours! I will be using this app again and again.
