BRING BACK THE MATCHING GAME!
The only reason I shop at PetSmart over PetCo or any other store for my big purchases was because of the fish matching game that allowed for coupons! I don’t know why you decided to get rid of it, but it has almost completely deterred me from shopping at PetSmart without that app feature after being a loyal customer for 6+ years for my fishkeeping equipment.
Was pretty good, now inaccessible
I love PetSmart and used the app frequently. Now I apparently have an outdated version and cannot get the updated version because the minimum is iOS 16 or higher. That’s terrific, since my phone…which, yes, is an older iPhone but still supported by Apple and EVERYONE else…is up to date at 15.8.2.
App crashes ALOT
For weeks now in the middle of building my cart the app crashes and I lose everything. I always have to wait like 30 min and try again and miraculously all my cart comes back.
Very frustrated anymore
It ALWAYS messes up and is now messing up my actual payments which has become beyond frustrating! To the point I’m about done with PetSmart altogether
App is buggy
I have iOS. Did not recognize one of the promos. Was not able to submit payment / finalize purchase after several attempts and refresh. Then my cart was emptied. The app would be great if it worked.
Pickup bad
For a while now this hasn't worked for me. I used to love it! I often use curbside pickup but now I can't use the app for that because the place where you click "I'm here" is off the screen, below where you can access it. I haven't found any way around this. It's still great to help you find items in the store, used to be great all around but now it's useless for pickup. I will delete the app once again.
Closes out of app or uh-oh something went wrong
I like to do my orders through the app for curbside pick up, most of the time. However, every time I do an order, it takes numerous tries to select items, & sometimes, even my cart items disappear all together. I usually have a large order, but that’s no reason for there to be so many issues. I can get half way through selecting my choices, & I start getting the messages that something went wrong. I go back & try again & continue to get that message, even if I select a different choice. At that point, my cart disappears, even though I know it’s saved for my return. However, when all that starts, I get kicked out of the app completely. I try to go back into the app, & sometimes, it’ll open & sometimes it goes back to my phone screen. If I do get back into the app & select a category, it kicks me completely out again. I check to make sure I’ve updated the app, & like this particular time, I did the update before I ever started my order. Guess what! That didn’t matter. I’m still having issues with the app. I can try several times, & I have no luck. Several minutes later, still no chance of getting to finish my order. It’s aggravating to take 2 days to do an order that I’d like to pick up in a few hours, but it seems to take that. I shouldn’t get kicked out of the app in the middle of making selections to fill my cart. It’s so bad that I have started doing screen shots of each thing I add; so that, I can try & go back later & pick up where it kicked me out. Also, I have even seen it where my choice of store was changed & no longer listed. When that happened, I called the store to see if there was an issue on there end, especially after I still could not select that location, again, after getting kicked out of the app. Please correct these issues. I’ve done numerous updates over the last few months, & nothing corrects those issues. I’ve checked everything on my end, & it’s not signal, updates, or anything else. It’s the mobile app. I purchase from Chewy without any issues like this, & I continue to purchase from PetSmart, even though the companies are separate, now. However, if I can’t get orders done without these issues, I will have to just do those items with Chewy, despite having to buy cases of small cat food cans instead of 8 or 10 of each choice. Also, a comment section needs to be added to the app for mobile orders. Obviously, you’d think that your cans of food would not look like someone played baseball, but many times, I have to go to the store to swap out cans that have been dented to the point I feel it may have possibly affected the quality of the food. No one wants dented cans. Please add a comment section for mobile app orders. Sometimes, customers need to make requests that aren’t unreasonable & can be helpful to store associates. Please correct the app issues. Those problems are why I gave the PetSmart app 3 stars.
