With the app, you can scan and bag your own items as you shop, make less contact with others, and save time at checkout in any lane. Get started by launching the application at an eligible *H-E-B location, then log in with your HEB.com credentials or create a new account. *Piloting at select locations. Once you have created an account, then: 1. Scan and bag as you shop Use your mobile device to scan your items as you place them in your cart or bag. The app will track your items as you shop, and you can add or remove products before finalizing your purchase. 2. Head to checkout When you’re done shopping, head to self-checkout. At self-checkout, the kiosk screen will guide you through the checkout process. 3. And Go! Pay as you normally would, grab your receipt and go! Or if your store has an H-E-B Go kiosk, check out by scanning the kiosk’s code and paying with the app.

App is not great…
App always freezes and coupons are not always applied… sometimes you have to keep going back and forth better your cart and checkout for a coupon that has already been clipped to apply. The app needs some enhancements.
Good but could be great
No major complaints but would love it if they added a daily meal planner so that we could plan meals and create the needed shopping list all from the app.
Love it but not the glitches
We love the H‑E‑B scan and go app and would love it if it was offered on every store. However, lately it has timed out on us halfway through our shopping trip or won’t open at all. It keeps saying retry. I’m not sure if we lose cellular service inside the store or what, but it has become a hassle to log off, shut my phone down, reboot and try again, several times to get back to my scan and go cart. It would be great if the app was updated to fix this issue. I learned from a worker that it’s not just me, and several customers have complained.
