Love this App. Seriously.
This app is truly fantastic for me. I do pay the subscription as well. It’s worth it. These app developers are constantly improving the app as well; that means a lot. Quickly syncs changes between iPhone and Mac too. Love having my inventory & model numbers etc “at the ready.” Reporting features are great. Ability to add custom fields is AWESOME. Best inventory app out there. Been using it for 3-4 years.

I like the ability to document individual items in a collection, however What I was also seeking is to print the items in some form of documentation (like a catalog). Printing seems to be limited to only 1 item at a time.

Have used the product sice before it moved to the subscription model and would recommend it to all Mac/iPhone/iPad users. Great integration between the platforms and they are constantly innovating and expanding the apps capabilities. Also the customer support is tremendous... Any time I have needed a helping hand with something, they are quick to respond and resolve and they even follow-up to make sure all is good. A great product with great support...

I like the look of it and appreciate that it's multi-platform. I wanted it to be my one-stop inventory system. It didn't quite work out that way. I had thought its support for Barcode/QRcode meant that it had the ability to generate a sharable code-image so I could use a label printer like the B21 to put it on my boxes and other inventory items. Unfortunately that's not something it can do, and after an informative conversation with tech support it's not something they're planning to add. I'm giving it 3 stars because it seems nice, but having to use a different app to tell this app what an id is ... well I want to make inventory managment easy and having to use a different app to tell this app what an id is every time sounds less-easy, more like a pain. Maybe I'll just use the gps coordinates in my ipad's photos.

This app is perfect in terms of tracking everything we need to keep up on home maintenance. I've tried some of the other home maintenance apps and I feel like they are too expensive for what you are getting. This app is a good value and has everything I need. My only real complaint is that it's not very intuitive. I find myself clicking around *a lot* to get to what I'm looking for, to the point of frustration. I work as an app analyst so I'm not a dummy when it comes to software. I think there could be some improvements in UI to make the experience better.

Love this app! I own long term and short term rentals and turn to this app multiple times a day to keep all the properties straight, including my home. Can't wait to try the 3D image included in their newest update. This will save me many miles of driving to each property when I need a measurement.

• New Add From Receipt feature that streamlines data entry. Tap and hold the Add Item button at the bottom of the Item List and select Add From Receipt to use the built-in camera to scan a receipt. The New Item Panel is then shown with the scanned receipt attached and the Purchased From and Purchase Date fields seeded with values recognized from the receipt. • When adding a new item where a receipt has been added inside the New Item Panel or creating a new item from a receipt in the Inbox, you can use the Select Receipt Text button to select text from the receipt and use it to set the value of the field. This is available for most text fields, date fields, and currency fields. • The Select Receipt Text feature is also available when editing an existing item that already has a receipt. • If you add a receipt inside the New Item Panel or use the Inbox to add a new item from a receipt, Under My Roof will try to automatically seed the Purchased From and Purchase Date fields from text it finds in the receipt. • You can now add receipts from the Inbox from inside the New Item Panel. • You can also add photos from the Inbox from inside the New Item Panel. • Under My Roof now prompts you on whether or not to delete the Inbox entries used when creating a new item from the Inbox or adding a photo, receipt, or attachment from the Inbox. • Fixed an issue where the default field values in the New Item Panel may not be set as expected when adding a new item to a container item. • Fixed a bug in Reports where the main photo of an item needs to start on the next page can overlay the information for the item that follows it. • Fixed a bug where only the first photo would be imported for a location when importing a .hi3 file.
