NOT DEPENDABLE
Do not rely on Google voice for important phone calls. This is the second time I have had something extremely important where the phone didn’t ring or only rang once. Then when I received a call back, the attorney could not hear me speaking and did not give me a callback number for him. It was for legal representation, and now my court date is fast approaching and I couldn’t get another phone appointment for four days. Thanks Google Voice!

Google ruins yet another app
This used to be a great app one could use over wifi to make calls. Now, you need to have cell service from a “provider” in order to use it to make calls, effectively making life harder for those who are poor and were using the app to make calls, which might include a prospective employer. Nasty company. None of the Silicon Valley darlings are good people. Awful and predatory. That’s all these people are. Money grubbing maggots.
Can’t Hear It Ringing
No matter what my volume is set to the ringer volume in the app is way too low cannot hear it ringing and I’m missing calls
Stupid
Why on earth can I not use my own phone number
I can’t even login
Trying to log in for the first time to use my google voice number and every time I get an error that something went wrong.
Minute Saver
Comes in handy when I make calls when Wi-Fi is available so it doesn’t cost me minutes. What is interesting though is that even though Microsoft Copilot says that the sound events can be changed by going into the phone settings under notifications and choosing voice, but the option to change the sound events is not there. Does anybody know what gives? I’m talking about the sound for texting, the ringtone changes with the default phone app
