Motion Zone doesn’t work
I like the system but the motion zone does not work. I try to block the streets off and just focus on my house but I still keep getting notifications for every car or person that passes by on the sections I erased. Please fix so I’ll quit getting so much false notifications.

It does what it’s designed to do. My only comment for developers would be this. When I review and delete events, even if I delete ALL events, when I check device storage, it has not changed. It still consumes all the space on the SD card. The only way to free space is to format the SD card. It would be nice if the events deleted were removed from the SD card freeing up space and eliminating the extra step. Hence the 4 stars vs 5. My comment for others might be to know that sometimes when pulling up the video captured on the SD card it can be quite a bit slower than my previous doorbell camera. Also a no-fee doorbell device. Lately we’ve gotten the “Oops something went wrong” error more often than we should.

Why is the Lorex solution always to have the user call and sit on hold for hours for a technician that isn’t even able to help? I don’t want to spend anymore time on this XXXX? The solution is to hire a developer that can write a working app. None of my 9 cameras detect motion or provide notifications. A couple of them detect sound. I can only watch live. They used to work most of the time, but the app has changed for the worse. This makes my cameras worthless. I have reached out for support, but Lorex doesn’t respond. I belong to a tech group, many of us have had negative experiences with Lorex support.

Well, title says it all. Give this a 1 star rating. Gave my Honest opinion about how this "security" system can't even pick up when I get home. Funny how reviews are being accepted yet I still don't see my honest 1 star

Everything has to be updated fully and sometimes needs a reset, especially if it starts displaying “ugh oh, something went wrong”. But usually a reset or an update will fix that.
