DONT BUY THIS CHARGER IF YOU WANT TO CHARGE YOUR CAR. It is a terrible app that makes it impossible to connect your charger to the internet. This has made it impossible to redeem our utility’s rebate for buying this charger. Nothing about the experience of buying the charger or connecting it has beens satisfying. This company has some major problems with quality control and customer service, and you should stay far far away from them.

I use the Enel X Way app almost exclusively for home charging. Works ok to notify when charging and history of power transmitted. I wish it would recognize and communicate with my car - two enhancement requests: 1) I have two cars and it doesn’t recognize which is plugged in. That should be easy because the two cars charge at different rates, so basic lookup of charging rate per model would identify each. 2) setting it to charge to 80% just adds 80% of the battery capacity of the car it thinks is connected (which is 50/50 chance of being right). I wish it could communicate with car or the online service for the car to detect existing charge level and stop at 80%.

Purchased my first JuiceBox in 2018, and couldn't have been more pleased with the complete control I had in charging my EV at home, whenever I wanted. Ended up replacing with new JuiceBox40 due to difficulties, which now, in retrospect, were probably due to the unmitigated disaster of the migration to new app in 2023. I have had nothing but frustration and countless hours wasted on trying to figure out this damned app. One year later, and I am still having to call for assistance due to issues still being experienced. Was perfectly happy with the Juicenet app, but I detest the change to EnelXWay. Not user friendly, nor intuitive. Also, s l o w. Do NOT recommend. Avoid if you can.

sorry to inform you, but I believe the software is a major step back compared to simplicity reliability of the juice box app. ENet application had inconsistent device connection attempts to my new juice box 40 device. I’ve had inconsistent overnight charting, charging not meeting my max amp requirements. I really wish I could go back to the old software. I don’t like the user interface also it’s difficult to find things. I hate to dump all of this on you but honestly, the original software is a lot more stable and I find a lot more intuitive interface.
