Rarely works
I have two Marantz receivers in my house and the app randomly finds them. If it does find one, it’s usually the opposite of the one I want. Both are hardwired.

When watching movies this is the only app left on my phone which blares with a bright screen and interrupts the movie. Also it loses connection with volume and can cause really weird behavior

United StatesOnly Thing I Use
I don’t know what the problems are with people having difficulties with this app. With the occasional having to power down my Marantz SR 6014, I have found this app to be extremely useful. It has gone through several upgrades which have made it more stable at least for my receiver and I have been using it for three years now. I use this to do all kinds of adjustments while I’m watching content and hardly ever use the remote for anything. It feels like I’m the only one who really likes the app so it makes me query if some people just don’t know how to operate it or that their receivers are not able to connect with it properly. There are a myriad of reasons that this can be happening not the least of which is keeping up on updates or having a good Internet connection. We use ethernet to make sure that the connection to the Marantz is stable. I appreciate the work that has gone into the app and I just woud like the developers to know that I think they’ve done a good job.

This is fairly easy. For an AV app the light screen ruins movies when I open the app, please add dark mode.

Wow- this app reminds me of early computer programming. We have the power of apps and interfaces and none of that is leveraged in this app. What you get are some functions that work but it could be so much more. Please hire a few designers and make this useful.
