This app’s watch widget is so handy to unlock your door with! And with my ring camera plus the WiFi unlocking, I can let people in easily. I love my U-TEC lock setup!! it is Siri and Alexa ready and just makes life easier

United StatesUpdates broke my lock - but didn’t know…
Our app stopped working and our guests were locked out of the house - we had to pay someone to unlock the door - go to store and buy a new lock. We tried to get the lock replaced on Amazon as we bought the warranty - which was a waste as the Manufacturer has a warranty for 18 months - was happy when we finally were able to make it to our rental as its 1000 miles away and called Utec and they updated the app - but now we can’t change anything and we already left. So I have a few codes already saved but can’t add any new ones as I did not think about checking that part before we left. Would be great if we would’ve received some notice that there was an update that broke the lock and had to be fixed without costing us over 500.00 and a lot of inconvenience….hopefully the app will start working again. Will be calling the company again - Hate giving 1 star - as I loved this until I didn’t….

It was an easy install for most part but it took many times to try to connect to my wifi. After 10x it finally did it. Theres def a lag in the app. I try to click on the log to see who came in and out and it takes like 30 seconds to load.
