Eventually seems to work
I’d love to know what kind of designers worked on the dishwasher and app experience because it’s so confusing. It’s like it was a made by a marketer who never used an app before. It took me about 2 hours to connect my dishwasher to the WiFi. Once it was finally connected I thought everything was going to be good until I discovered there’s no delay start button. I was devastated. Then I found that the app claims I can automate the dishwasher to run every night. Perfect! Only no. That’s not quite how it works. It’s really just a very complicated delay start feature. You still have to manually go to the app to trigger the thing every day. And don’t touch the dishwasher or the app in any way between triggering the “automation” and it actually running or it won’t run. This thing is so touchy. I’ve had it a week now and I think it successfully ran over night 2-3 of the days so far. I saw on Reddit a Bosch representative said we can’t have delay start because the only time ppl use it is because the dishwasher is too loud or it doesn’t dry in time and Bosch solved those problems. Well no! I really don’t care how loud it is or how long it takes to dry. I just want to not forget to run it overnight. I wish dishwasher manufacturers would stop focusing on all these useless priorities and start focusing on making the apps really great. Make it 80 decibels for all I care but make it so it runs every night at 11pm and I never have to think about it! i don’t want to have to think this much about my dishwasher.

This app does not work. It cannot connect and it fails to recognize the newly purchased machine. It does not recognize proper passwords. Even when connected to Bluetooth, it fails to recognize the password for the home network and for its own app. I changed the app password but same result. Insanity. This app is a piece of junk. I bought a Bosch dishwasher and this is suppose to be the app to use but it is useless.

We live in the middle of nowhere and don’t have a password on our home network. The app requires an 8 digit password to be assigned to your WiFi network. We have many other devices at home connected to our WiFi which are controlled with phone apps with NO issues: TV, clothes washer, fridge, litter box, etc. so this is extremely annoying.

I scanned the code and it either tells me to have Bluetooth on, which it is and I am right next to the dishwasher, or it just goes on forever trying to connect. It then gives up or after 5 minutes waiting, I give up I wish my dishwasher was old fashioned with my being able to set up which cycle I want and options. I don’t want to tied to an app. A very frustrating and worthless app.

My schedule is an absolute joke - you can set it up and start it on your phone just like it instructs and then it will disconnect and not start at all. Third morning I’ve had dishes not clean. Absolute waste of time. App takes forever to connect to dishwasher. Honestly it would be faster to operate it at the machine itself.
