Not Available where I live

I went through all the hoops of getting qualified to work for bungi just to find out that it’s not popular in Portland, Oregon. It’s a shame because it sounds like a good idea. Was on the app for hours and never got a call. This makes sense most people out here own a truck or know someone with a truck.

Great overall

Next to other courier apps, Bungii fits PERFECT into rotation. Scheduling gigs instead of asap orders is a great concept. Only downside to Bungii is if you have 1 gig already scheduled, you can’t schedule another gig before completion… even if it’s a 4 hour difference (which I think is crazy personally)… but overall this is a great app compared to others

Have not Complete one JOB

All the jobs that keep coming up are extremely heavy. Several jobs require drivers to unloading for pennies to the dollar. Also require two people. I'm not going to unload 4,000 plus lbs of bricks for $40.

horrible option for side hustle

they don’t seem to know what they’re doing. bungii support would give you an advise and direct you to drivers support and then they’d tell you something completely different. low pay and bad customer service.

Not a bad concept, execution and app could be better

The idea is solid. You have a truck, you make side money with it. You start to fill out the application. With each page, there’s a list of items you need to have. Now the fun begins. You done just need the item, you need a picture of it to submit. Not a problem if you already have it. If you don’t, everything now pauses until you get it and can provide pictures. Get that done and move on to the next page, more items to check off and provide pictures of. This would be a very easy process if there was a list of these things to have BEFORE you start. Kind of a pain to get the application done. Ok, the application is done. Whew! Wait, your address is not within 30 miles of one of our partners. Now, with very little explanation, you have to provide a different address. It took much more back-and-forth than it should have to find out that the address you’re providing is only used as a pin on a map to reference - nothing more. And if your address isn’t within 30 miles of one of their partners, you won’t even be notified of available Bungii’s. Ok, no problem, you pick a parking lot closer to an area they say would be better. Problem solved. Now you’re finally set up. Congratulations! Get ready to make those big bucks. But, wait, the available Bungii’s are farther than 30 miles? How can this be? Those shouldn’t even be showing up as available to you at 60-100+ miles away, right? After all, you had to set up an address in a parking lot just to be eligible to be a driver, remember? That’s odd, but who cares. You’re a driver, you’ll drive that distance. Hold on, do your math first. $55 sounds great, but when it’s 100 miles away it probably won’t even cover the fuel in a truck. That means your tolls are on you, and your time is free. And you’re probably buying yourself lunch too since it’s going to take 5 hours round trip. Ok, so you have viewed an available Bungii and have decided this one is not for you. No problem, you don’t have to accept any Bungii’s that you don’t want to. Well, there’s an “Accept” button, but no decline option. No worries, there’s the back button. You tap the back button and are given a choice of reasons you are declining this Bungii. You have to choose one, or you can’t get back into the app. Sometimes your reasoning might not be that simple, but you can only choose one. There’s also no ability to leave feedback or a comment, which would probably be incredibly valuable information. It’s ok though because you’re declining, right? Well, that is unless there are multiple Bungii’s available at the same time and you were just trying to review them to choose one. Now you’re forced to decline even if that’s not what you’re trying to do. There should be more options here. Ok, so you’ve accepted a Bungii. Whatever you do, don’t cancel. That’s a bad idea. They can cancel your driver account for that. Cancellations on the store end are ok though. They are also not communicated to the driver. You accepted a Bungii in good faith, with an expectation of earnings. You show up to the pick up location as you are expected to. No one at the store knows what you’re talking about. How can this be? You contact driver support to try to figure it out. After a good 20-30 minutes, you figure out what happened. No problem, you’re still compensated! Well, hopefully $20 covers your fuel and time. If you’re outside of that 30 miles with a truck, it probably won’t. Oh, and the person to person Bungii’s, you know, the ones that are not through a partner? Where an individual person can use the other Bungii app to request a driver? Yeah, those are apparently going away in the near future because they are such a small part of what Bungii has become. That’s sad, those are actually the whole reason I signed up in the first place. To help out neighbors I don’t know yet. Hopefully Bungii doesn’t eliminate that part of the business. Ultimately , this is a spectacular concept. If Bungii can get it dialed in for those who do not live directly inside of a major metro area, it will be great. In the meantime, it’s ok.
