Wonderful Scale and app
I’m not sure why this app has such low ratings. I believe it’s because a lot of the ratings are old and a lot has changed over the years. I’ve been using their scale off and on for about 7 years. I enjoy looking at the historical data and trends. Starting in January, I started weighing myself daily. While the day to day weight/fat numbers aren’t something to focus on, the app provides the weekly, monthly, yearly, as well has historical weights. This alone is so motivating and part of my day to check the changes. The app includes the following measurements: Weight, Average Weight, Fat, Average Fat, Skeletal Muscle, Average Skeletal Muscle, BMI, Body Fat %, Skeletal Muscle Mass, Water %, Protein, Visceral Fat, Bone Mass, BMR, Biological Age, Fat Weight, Body Fat Mass Index (BFMI), and Fat Free Mass (FFM) These data points have given me everything I need to learn and progress on my weight loss journey. I love the scalar and app and wouldn’t be without it. For those of you that aren’t seeing the historical trends, reports, statistics, etc, spend some time in the app clicking around on different options/buttons. There’s a wealth of information to find.

The Bluetooth connectivity has been broken for many weeks now. Old versions of IOs still connect, but this is clearly not a solution. Can we get an update to the app?

Been using it for years. No complaints. Lindo well with Apple health and gives more information on weight than probably needed. All good. Recent iOS update on iPhone seems to have broken the Bluetooth connection. App still works well on old iPad with old iPadOS.

This was working fine then suddenly there is an unremovable pop up screen that says I need to use the Chinese version… like I would be able to read that. Don’t sell the scale in the US if it requires Chinese software.

I have the Yunmai scale and had to put in new batteries. That reset the scale to show weight in KG, not pounds. Apparently you can change that only in the app, but the app no longer works. Can’t log in, can’t create a new account. App is junk and now the scale is too.

I have been using this app and their product for years and I’m looking forward that they can make an update by adding an app to Apple Watch. So every time I Measure I don’t have to carry the phone instead just check on Apple Watch.
